Public Outreach and Consultation

We believe in sharing the discoveries from our technical and non-technical studies to better shape the stories of community history. Projects that involve historical research, archaeological investigations, and historic architectural studies generate knowledge that leads to a better understanding of our shared heritage and the heritages of others. Clients with publicly funded projects are often subject to federal permitting or require conformance with federal, state, or municipal historic preservation laws. They are frequently required to hold public information meetings, undertake educational efforts, and consult with local stakeholders such as Native American groups as part of the planning process.  They are also often required to integrate historic exhibits and interpretive signage components into final project plans. Our staff has vast experience in preparing, producing, and implementing outreach programs across a variety of project types.
